TERMS, CONDITIONS & FAQ's
- DISCLAIMER | Toowoomba Eco Tours or your Agent makes the booking in good faith. However, we cannot accept responsibility for unforseen actions that may result in changes to or cancellation of a booking. In such situations, every endeavour will be made to offer alternative tour dates or offer a refund.
- DEPOSIT & BOOKING DATE | To confirm your booking, we require full deposit at the time of booking. Guests are required to check their booking receipt and contact the office immediately should there be any discrepancies.
- GUEST TOUR NUMBERS | All day tours will be open to a maximum of 7 attendees. Over-night eco events may be open to larger group numbers and this will be stipulated in the particular tour outline. Tours require a minimum of 3 people to commence. Please declare total number of guests for the tour of your choice while booking.
- PAYMENT METHODS | Toowoomba Eco Tours accept payment by Pay-pal and Credit Card through our paypal secure payment system. Cash or credit-card will be accepted for extras purchased throughout the tour.
- CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES | Management reserves the right to decline or terminate a booking within 14 days of a booking being made. Your deposit will be refunded in full.
- Postponment of Booking - Postponements or change of dates for a pre-paid eco tour booking are available up until 7 days prior to the tour date.
- Cancellation of Booking - Cancellation of a booked tour within 48 hours of the tour date will result in the loss of full payment of tour fee.
- Cancellation of a Booking- Should you need to cancel your booked eco-tour - more than 14 days prior to the departure date of the tour. Your the deposit will be refundable, less as $50 cancellation fee which will be used to cover planned costs of the tour booking, by way of compensation.
- ATTIRE | Closed in shoes with grip are necessary on all Toowoomba Eco Tours. We also ask that you wear nature friendly clothing (i.e. no bright colours) during bushland and rainforest tours where possible. Long pants are advisable in cooler months.
- LOST PROPERTY | We accept no responsibility for guest’s property left or damaged on tour. However we will endeavour to collect and return it to you COD should something be left behind in the tour vehicle. We encourage guests to pre- label all equipment including cameras and lenses and personal belongings.
- PETS | Pets are not permitted on our Eco Tours. There are no exceptions. This is to protect the tour locations and protect the large amount of wildlife which resides in these Eco areas and National Parks.
- ITINERARY | A full itinerary will be emailed to you once you have booked your tour. We endeavour to keep to the itinerary order, however on occasion due to unforseen circumstances like weather or traffic, the itinerary may need to be adjusted on the day.
- WALKING ABILITY | All of our Toowoomba Eco Tours will require a moderate level of walking/hiking ability and fitness levels. Our tours aim to stay on intended walking tracks, but at some locations, these tracks include steep stone stairs or rocky terrain to meander.
- ACCOMMODATION PICK UP | Toowoomba Eco Tours offers pick-up from Accommodation providers free of charge in Toowoomba and Highfields and Crows-Nest for northern tours. Arrangements will be made re pick up time after booking confirmation.
- WET WEATHER | Depending on the particular tour you have booked, we will aim to continue even in wet weather. Should a decision need to be made regarding postponement or cancellation of a tour - guests will be notified by email, mobile phone and our facebook page will also be updated. In the rare case of a cancellation - refunds will be given, less 10% to cover evenbrite booking fees.
- WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY AGREEMENT | All attendees participating in a Toowoomba Eco Tour Event are required to sign a waiver and release of liability agreement form before commencing the tour.
- PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE | Toowoomba Eco Tours has full public liability coverage with AON.
- WORKING WITH CHILDREN BLUE CARD LICENCE | All Toowoomba Eco Tour Guides have a current Queensland Government Working with Children Blue Card Permit.
- PASSENGER TRANSPORT DRIVER AUTHORISATION | Eco Tour Guide Judith Gray has a current Passenger Transport Driver Authorisation Licence with the Queensland Government Department of Transport and Main Roads for General Charter and tourist services.
- FIRST AID CERTIFICATE | All Tour Guides working on paid Eco-tours have current First Aid Certificates
- NATIONAL PARK & COUNCIL PARK PERMITS | Toowoomba Eco Tours ensures full permits to conduct eco-tour events in a National Park or Council Bushland Park for paid events are approved and current.
